The recipe is very old ... it was made in our country in a festive version ... 1/4 or 1/2 walnut in the middle of this beautiful and sweet treat ... The recipe is from my notebook / inherited from my mother /
Preparation steps
- Whisk the butter, margarine and egg yolks, add the mileram, vinegar and baking soda and mix everything nicely. Add the flour gradually, depending on the size of the egg yolk, how much flour 600 or 700g will be needed, knead to make the dough smooth.
- Make rolls, from the dough the size of a walnut, put 1/4 walnut or 1 hazelnut baked in the middle, press on a grater and arrange in a dry pan. / about 35 pieces /
- Put in a hot oven at 220 degrees, when they get a nice yellow color, take them out and pour over the prepared agave, 1 kg of sugar and 1 l of water to boil. Leave in the pan until cool.
- When cool, store in the refrigerator.
