Oriental candy
for those who like these sweets, with sherbet, like tulumba, baklava…
Preparation steps
- First, cook the sherbet and cool it well (let it cook for ten minutes)
- Knead the dough from all the ingredients and put enough flour to get a soft dough.
- Divide the dough into two parts and spread each part into a rectangular crust as thin as you can (you have to pay attention to this) Cut the crust into strips about 1 cm wide.
- Now wind the strips around the fork, the length should be approximately 25 cm, because they should be well fried inside as well, so that they do not remain raw.
- Carefully, in hot oil, fry the sweets by squeezing them with your fingers from the fork into the oil. Make sure the oil is not too hot so that it does not burn. Turn them over once.
- Put them in a cold sherbet while hot.
Serving
Store them in the refrigerator, they are best cold, and you can also cover them with chocolate, cinnamon…
