Ohrid trout
So far, Anita has been preparing my fish. A beautiful and lively brunette, she runs a fish market and a restaurant, so whoever wants can buy raw fish, or she can prepare it for him, or she can eat it at her restaurant if she wants it with a salad and side dish. That's why I very rarely cook fish by myself ... I can't, my house smells, she does it better. But until recently, because at that time I bought a pizza grill in which I never made a pizza, only fish is prepared in it. The last one was trout in Ohrid ...
Preparation steps
- Saute the onion in a little oil to make it glassy. Add a little red spicy pepper, stir.
- Add peeled chopped tomatoes, a little ground dried vegetables to the sauteed onion, add salt. Simmer until all the juice boils, then pick and add chopped parsley.
- Fry the cleaned and washed trout in oil (I grilled it), then remove the bone from each one, open it flat, add salt and pepper. Drizzle with lemon juice and fill with stuffing.
- Fold the stuffed trout, and place in a fireproof dish and bake in the oven. Serve with a side dish of rice or potatoes.
Serving
I ate this dish a long time ago in Ohrid, and the recipe I found on youtube is with Steve Karapandža, the most popular chef in the former South: *
