OBAZDER (obatzda, obazda obazder)
..... O ’zapft is !!!!!!! :)) With a thunderous shout, a blow with a wooden mallet on the tap, the first beer is solemnly encouraged and Oktoberfest has started… You won't blame me for my fascination with Oktoberfest, but I simply enjoy this tradition and the "fifth season" in Bavaria. Prayer over prayers, which welcomes all guests… As bread is our life, so is beer for them.
Preparation steps
- Chop the camembert with a fork, then mix in the cottage cheese, salt and pepper.
- Make the mixture well, add the red beaten pepper and cumin.
- Add the onion to the amount you plan to eat immediately, so that the spread does not get a bitter taste overnight.
- Spread on an integral, black peasant circle or of course on a pretzel. If the mixture is too dry, mix a couple of tablespoons of beer, so that the mass blends more easily… :)
Serving
It is interesting that this recipe has been circulating among the people for years and that its ingredients have not changed significantly. I guess it was so good that they didn't need to fix it. This spectacular recipe was served by the Bavarian innkeeper Katarina Eisenreich in a well-known brewery, as a small snack, between tasting several types of beer. Apparently it dates from 1920, but she inherited this recipe from her mother-in-law who died in the last century .. :)) For me, this prayer is one of the symbols of the "Bavarian house". I'm glad Grandma Todebo forced me to do this today….) ) Garnish of course with chives and the indispensable Bavarian vegetable: Radish. !!!!
