Nettle and potato pie
Another recipe with nettle. Too bad this healthy food is still pretty much neglected on our menus. (Recipe taken from one blog)
Preparation steps
- From the ingredients for the dough, knead the dough and add water as needed and leave it to stand for half an hour.
- Meanwhile, grate the potatoes and cook the nettles. Chop the cooked nettle and mix it with grated potatoes, a little salt, pepper and a few drops of oil.
- Roll out 4 balls of dough and stretch each one, then stretch as much as possible so that the dough becomes thin, almost transparent. Then spread 2-3 tablespoons of the filling on the dough, wrap the dough as in a roll and arrange it in the shape of a snail in an oiled pan. Place in a preheated oven at 200˚C for about 45 minutes or until it takes on a nice golden color.
- Towards the end of baking, pour boiling water in which you have put a little salt and 2 tablespoons of oil. Pour the excess water out of the pan and return for another 2min.
Serving
Serve with yogurt!
