Mozart balls (Austria)
Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart (1756-1791), one of the greatest composers of all time, has been making balls of the same name in his honor for hundreds of years, with marzipan, pistachios, nougat and chocolate.
Preparation steps
- Divide the marzipan into two parts, add the pistachios to one and mix.
- Make nougat balls, and small concave tiles of both types of marzipan, Fig. 2, and form balls
- Drizzle them with chocolate and leave them to dry.
- If you do not have purchased nougat, make it from 100g of nutella and 60g of ground hazelnuts.
