Moroccan pancakes Baghrir

"Pancakes with a thousand holes", topped with honey, with a cup of tea ... perfect!

Preparation steps

  • Put all the dry ingredients in a blender, pour over warm water and stir for about 5 minutes. Pour the mixture into a bowl, cover and let stand for 60 minutes.
  • Coat the pan with butter, pour in about ½ dl of the mixture and bake on low heat for about 2-3 minutes. Bubbles form on the surface of the dough first, then small holes. The pancake is baked when the surface is dry and spongy. The other side of the pancake is not baked.
  • Stack the pancakes on a kitchen towel. Serve them topped with honey. The amount is enough for 15 pancakes with a diameter of 15 cm.
