Molded rice

Why not serve rice a little differently :-)

Preparation steps

  • Fry the onion in butter until glassy, add the chicken cubes and rice and fry together for a few minutes.
  • Pour hot water, stir and cook on low heat until "al dente". Add salt and pepper to taste.
  • Remove from the heat and stir in a tablespoon of the grated cheese.
  • Coat the kuglof mold with butter and sprinkle with grated cheese all around.
  • Fill the mold with braised rice. Carefully press the rice over the surface to fill the mold evenly. Place in an oven preheated to 180 degrees for about 10 minutes.
  • Remove from the oven and turn onto a serving plate.
  • You can fill the middle with the prepared main dish (meat ragout, stewed mushrooms, stew or similar) or sprinkle with fresh chopped parsley.
