Mazanica
Mazanica is a cake in which the practice of a housewife, acquired in practice, comes to the fore to create such a delicious cake that almost with nothing (ie flour, a little water, eggs, cream and fat and a few teaspoons of jam) that others with many different fine ingredients rarely can surpass.
Preparation steps
- Dough:
- Put flour, water, salt, oil and vinegar in a bowl and mix everything together to get a shiny, smooth, tough dough.
- Form the dough into 2 to 3 smaller hemispheres, coat with oil and leave to rest for 60 minutes.
- The table covered with a tablecloth, sprinkle with flour and roll out the dough first with a roller as much as possible, then stretch it with your hands from the middle outwards as much as possible to get a thin dough. Cut off the ends of the dough.
- Spread the filling evenly on the stretched dough. Lift the tablecloth to one side and fold in the folder. Grease a baking sheet, arrange the strudels, coat with a little cream and bake in the oven at 200 ° C for about 10 minutes.
- Stuffing:
- Put the cream, wheat semolina, eggs, salt, vanilla sugar and sugar in a bowl and mix everything well.
Serving
Cool the baked butter and serve as a dessert after lunch.
Advice
You can also coat the hot baked butter with about 20 g of melted butter, but then do not coat the raw rolls of dough with cream.
