May gibanica

A gibanica that is not, no crust but macaroni with cheese and spinach, a real spring combination! ;))

Preparation steps

  • Cook the macaroni in salted water and take them out with a sieve spoon just before the end of cooking, strain a little more and transfer to an oiled pan. Then, in the same hot water, blanch the spinach briefly, take it out and chop it finely. Whisk the eggs, salt them and mix with the cheese and chopped spinach and then pour over the macaroni, stir gently and bake in the oven. Towards the end of baking, take it out of the oven, pour over the whipped sour cream and sprinkle with sesame seeds, then return to the oven to bake.

Serving

The recipe is from the latest issue of Bliz Zena Kuhinja magazine.
