Marmalade for diabetics or those on a diet
Now Balašević would say marmalade - you won't sell it if you want :))) Last year I bought jam for diabetics for my diet and I was disgusted. It was so sweet that it was just disgusting. This year I made the rules myself, and these today are variations on the theme of light nectarine jam by selma-dc.
Preparation steps
- Mix the peaches into the chop, not too finely so that they do not turn into a liquid porridge, but only so that there are no large pieces.
- Transfer to a sherpa and add the juice and fructose, according to the jam you want and cook, stirring at 2-2.5, for about 10 minutes.
- If you do not use strawberry puree with the addition of apples, like me, then add a little apple juice or lemon because fruits that do not have enough pectin, such as strawberries, cherries, melons or kiwis are harder to coagulate, so you need to add the juice of apple, lemon or currant.
- Meanwhile, while the jam is cooking, dissolve 2 bags of gelatin, I used Dr. Oetker, with 8 tablespoons of cold water and leave it to swell.
- Remove the marmalade from the heat, stir in the gelatin and stir to combine.
- Pour hot into jars, close them and turn on the lid, until they cool for better vacuuming.
- Store in a cool and dark place.
Serving
There is no long-term cooking, "tidy" stove, no preservatives and a lot of added calories, and above all very tasty. And if there is no preservative, quince jam made in a similar way, here in my pantry, it welcomed August because I forgot to put the jar in the cellar this spring :)) Pleasant!
