Maneštra with various beans or in my kitchen "Fažolčina"

When it comes to preparing this dish, then it is said that there will be beans or peas for lunch; it is done in a few days and in a large pot (9l), but although it is intended for a few days, it quickly disappears: there is no greater taste than real, warm, homemade maneštra!

Preparation steps

  • Soak dry mixtures of beans (can be any kind you find in the store) and bacon overnight.
  • The second day, cook it all in an express pot for 45 min.
  • Fry the onion in oil until it turns yellow, then add water, chopped tomatoes and all the spices. Continue to cook for about 10 - 15 min. Add beans cooked in an express pot, canned beans and bacon (which we cut into pieces). Cook it all for 40 - 45 min. Add the pasta (quickly start preparing deep plates :) and when it is cooked… The dish is ready to serve!
