Mandarin kuglof
This year, mandarins gave birth to us like crazy and we should use them in all ways. If you also like mandarins, you will surely like this kuglof with almonds and yogurt enriched with mandarin syrup.
Preparation steps
- Whisk whole eggs with both sugars. Gradually, with gentle stirring, add the yogurt. Mix the flour, almonds and baking powder, and alternately add to the egg and sugar mixture with the oil. Add citrus peel, salt and 150 ml of juice and mix into a uniform mixture.
- Pour the mixture into a greased and floured mold. Bake in a preheated oven for about 40 minutes at 180 ° C.
- Meanwhile, bring to a boil the juice and sugar, stirring occasionally to make the juice slowly thicken and turn into a syrup, it will take 10-12 minutes.
- Take the baked kuglof out of the mold, pour the syrup over it while it is still warm.
- Serve while still warm or allow to cool completely. And the day after it is soft and shocking.
