Makedonsko Gravce na tavce
Here is a traditional Macedonian gravel ... While I was painting it, it was still simmering in an earthen pot ...
Preparation steps
- First, cook the beans, but do not overcook them, so that the beans remain whole, because they are certainly cooked in the oven after frying. During cooking, add 2 cloves of garlic, whole, not chopped, one equal teaspoon of ground black pepper and one equal spoon of vegeta, that is enough while cooking.
- When the beans are cooked, try to keep some water inside, because you will pour all the contents into an earthenware dish, so that they can simmer in the oven. So, remove the beans from the heat, and in the meantime, fry one onion in oil, over a moderate heat. When it starts to get a yellowish color, add one flat spoon of flour and fry until it gets a very yellow color, remove the onion from the heat, put a full spoon of ale red pepper, stir. In an earthenware dish (this is actually the secret of cooking beans in an earthenware dish), pour the beans with the soup in which they were cooked, add about half or less teaspoons of pepper, and a little more vegeta, to taste (be sure not to oversalt) , then pour the pre-fried powder into the beans, mix everything together with a spoon, put a couple of sausages on top if desired, put in a preheated oven at 250 degrees, and of course bake until nicely baked and the soup is partially boiled. Make sure it is not too dry beans, without soup. It is nicer when there is a little soup left.
- That's about it, my dears ... :)
Serving
Of course, eat hot, with cabbage salad, or pickled peppers ... and you don't need anything else ... :) ENJOY!
