Magic strudel with tea
Once you make a strudel with this dough, you will never knead it in any other way… Crazy, lean dough, superbly hollow, tasty, delicious and after a day or two (if it lasts that long… :-)))
Preparation steps
- Make tea first. Cook more, you may need. Stir in the germ cube with 1 teaspoon of sugar and a little warm water, then let it rise.
- Add oil, sugar, grated lemon zest, vanilla sugar, a little salt to the weighed flour, and add lukewarm, strained tea. Cook the soft dough - don't worry, as it comes, it will get a special, pliable dough structure, which you will be able to stretch even with your fingers.
- Let it come.
- Divide into 4 parts. Roll out a rectangle the width of the baking tray. Fill each part of the dough separately.
- Each filling is made in the same way, for example, sugar is added to the ground poppy and poured over with hot water; it must not be too rare. Spread, roll and arrange 4 strudels across the width of the oiled pan.
- Bake at 220’C until nicely browned and the whole house smells, about 30 minutes…
- Remove from the oven, cover with a cloth and allow to cool. Sprinkle with powdered sugar….
Serving
