Macedonian Meatballs with juice

Here is a Macedonian dish, try it and you won't regret it!

Preparation steps

  • 1. Finely chop the onion and mix it with the meat and egg, add salt, rice, add ground pepper and and, if desired, some other spice, add a little oil and a little water. 2. Arrange the balls from the mixture and roll them into bread crumbs. 3. Put the balls in the locked water and cook for 15 minutes (make sure that there is just enough water to cover the balls) 4. Finely chop the onion and let it simmer, add the balls and pour 1 and a half times less water and tomato sauce, add garlic powder, salt, pepper, oregano, vegeta, let it simmer for about 45 minutes, make sure there is sauce, add more water if necessary, after 30 minutes of simmering put 1 tablespoon of ajvar, after adding ajvar repeat all spices (salt, garlic, pepper, oregano) ... wait 15 minutes and enjoy your meal! :)

Serving

Serve the dish with puree, dough, rice, gnocchi or some other side dish :)
