Luqma qazi
One fine Kurdish dessert. I make them very rarely because they are just contagious, you can't eat just one piece.
Preparation steps
- Put all the listed ingredients for the syrup to boil.When it starts to cook, cook on low heat for 15 minutes.Set aside to cool.
- Mix all the listed ingredients for the dough and leave it to rise for an hour. The dough should be like donut dough.
- Mix the dough. If you wish, you can put it in a plastic bag, cut off the top of the bag, tear off smaller pieces and fry in heated oil for about 2 minutes on each side. You will get small balls. The second way is how I made them this time to take out the dough with a small spoon and fry. Then there will be a little more irregular shapes.
- Put the syrup and a deeper bowl, roll the finished luqma in the syrup, take it out immediately and put it on a plate.
