Lumumba stars

Lumumba is the name for a fine drink, ie a cocktail of cocoa and rum - that's how these stars got their name - and I found them last year in a book of international cookies, next to them was written "Jamaica" means they come from there “

Preparation steps

  • Knead the dough from all the ingredients to make it fine and smooth and leave it in the fridge for half an hour, then roll it out thinly and cut the stars
  • Place them on baking paper and bake at 170 ° for about 12-15 minutes. Cool them.
  • Break the chocolate into smaller pieces and melt. Dip half a star into the chocolate and place on a wire rack to harden the chocolate for about 2 hours, garnish with beads.
  • Mix powdered sugar with rum and mandarin juice to get a fine mixture that you put in a syringe and fill the remaining stars and immediately glue them and finally sprinkle with cocoa.
