Lentils with barley porridge

Preparation steps
- Put salted barley porridge in salted water (about half an hour)
- Put finely chopped onion on a crumb of butter and fry it briefly, then add basil, red pepper, garlic and pour water. Then add diced carrots and peppers and diced pumpkin, and lentils.
- Cook for about 15 minutes and add 3 tablespoons of tomatoes and a teaspoon of sugar. If necessary, add water (I prefer when there is less water because then I do not have to add flour, it is thick in itself).
- When both are cooked, drain the porridge and pour into the lentils and cook for another minute.
