Lens with dry bacon
In combination with bread and rice, lentils are best used.
Preparation steps
- Fry bacon, onion, carrot, garlic, add lorber and tomato puree. Stir and combine with the previously cooked lentils and the water in which it was cooked. If necessary, add a little more water. Add salt and pepper. Add the potatoes.
- Cook for about 40 minutes to soften the lentils and the water to almost evaporate. Towards the end, add half a teaspoon of turmeric.
Serving
Serve warm topped with a little olive oil.
