Leczo ... similar to our sataras

Leczo is a Hungarian specialty, it can be eaten as a standalone dish or as a side dish with rice, pasta, potatoes .. I was delighted with the taste, smell, diverse color palette on the plate .. ideal for the upcoming autumn days .. after a long walk in the park, forest, with freshly picked wildflowers, full of colorful impressions, try leczo :)

Preparation steps

  • We clean all the vegetables and cut them into cubes, rings, strips ... as you like.
  • Heat the oil in a pot and fry the chopped onion and garlic for 2-3 minutes.
  • Add all the prepared vegetables, pour water and season to taste or follow the recipe.
  • Cover and let cook for about half an hour with occasional stirring, adding water as needed.
  • Then add the tomatoes and let them cook for another 15 minutes on low heat.
  • You can cook the sausage immediately with vegetables or fry it in a pan and add it to the finished dish.
