Kuglof with chocolate and cherries

Chocolate and cherries, the perfect combination!

Preparation steps

  • Drain the cherries. Mix flour, pudding and baking powder. Add vanilla sugar, sugar, eggs, oil and yogurt. Make the dough well with a mixer.
  • Carefully stir in the chocolate and cherries. pour the dough into a kuglof mold (unfortunately I didn't have a mold so I improvised) which you coated to prevent it from sticking.
  • Bake the kuglof at 180 degrees, about 75 minutes. Leave the baked kuglof in the mold for ten minutes to cool, then turn it over on the cake rack to cool.
  • Baked and cooled kuglof, if desired, pour melted chocolate, cherry topping or powdered sugar.
