Cheesecake is one of our traditional Easter desserts. In Poljica, it is brought to Easter blessing together with eggs, wine and salt !! Seemingly very easy to prepare but all those who have done it know that this is not the case. The ingredients for the cheesecakes are quite similar, differing perhaps in the fat you add and the flavors. I will write you a recipe from my grandmother with the addition of my mother's secret ingredients and my detailed description of the preparation !! Another curiosity related to cheesecake, in my Poljica village Kostanja (hometown of Mile Gojsalić) is the custom that women on Easter Monday go to the neighborhood to try cheesecakes and be sure to make a toast with a glass of pear and of course comment on the taste of each cheesecake. from generation to generation! I did not hide anything and I managed to allow my mother to give me permission to publish her recipe publicly !! I give it to you !!!!
