Kozunak

For Easter, how mom and aunt make it!

Preparation steps

  • Dissolve the yeast with a little lukewarm milk and sugar. From the dough ingredients, knead the same and add the yeast. Leave the dough in a bowl to double, about 40 minutes.
  • Knead the risen dough again. Divide it into three equal parts.
  • Make three balls. Remove the crust from each of them with the thickness of a finger on a surface sprinkled with flour. The length of the crust should correspond to the size of the baking tray. It is coated with the filling. cut into strips of about 3 cm.and the middle coincided with the strips crosswise.
  • Carefully transfer with your hands to a pre-oiled baking tray (it would be good to put baking paper). Coat them carefully with a brush with egg yolk and oil. Leave them to rise for about 20 minutes. Put the margarine cubes before baking.
  • Bake in a preheated oven at 2oo degrees until it turns yellow. After baking while still hot, coat again with margarine. Leave to cool. Carefully remove from the pan.
  • Good apetite!!
