Kofteli Bayat Ekmek Kebabi

Turkish dish, very tasty. I tried it for the first time when I attended a course of Turkish cuisine and I really liked it. I have made it a couple of times, they love it. Here I am writing a recipe, so if I have convinced any of you of the taste and beauty of this dish, try it .... ........

Preparation steps

  • First make a base of old bread to eat. Cut the bread into cubes. Place in a baking tray, on baking paper, sprinkle with a mixture of butter, oil, salt and thyme. Bake in a preheated oven until finely browned. Put the bread cubes on a larger plate, set aside.
  • From the minced meat and other listed ingredients, make a mass (leave in the fridge for 30 minutes) from which to make dumplings, smaller steaks or kebabs. The mass has remained, we have made steaks, and we fry them in heated oil. When we have fried all the steaks, cover them foil, to stay warm for as long as possible.
  • We cook tomato sauce, from the listed ingredients. Set it aside.
  • Add finely chopped garlic, salt to the solid yoghurt, combine everything well.
  • Take a plate with bread cubes, pour a spoonful of tomato sauce over it, then pour over the sauce made of solid yoghurt and garlic. Place fried steaks, dumplings or kebabs on top of the dish. finely chopped parsley.
  • Serve hot with plenty of salad.
