Knæk brød (brittle bread) or crackers
This would be a literal translation from Danish, although it has nothing to do with bread. These are healthy, crunchy biscuits that go well with a glass of beer or kids to take to school. If we're already snacking on something, let it be healthy. I always make a double measure.

Preparation steps
- Combine all dry ingredients in one bowl and add oil and water. Knead the dough. If necessary, add a spoonful of two flours. Divide the dough into two parts.
- Spread as thin as possible on baking paper. This is important because the dough is sticky and cannot be separated from the table. The thinner the dough, the crispier the biscuits will be. Carefully transfer to a baking sheet, cut into squares with a knife, coat with water and sprinkle with poppy seeds. sesame or a little of everything.
- Bake at 180¤ for about 20 minutes. Be careful not to burn them, because then they will be bitter. 15 minutes is enough in my stove.
