Katarina cake
There are already several recipes and the differences are only in the shades. however, since I really liked it, I am also publishing this recipe
Preparation steps
- For dough 1, whisk the egg whites into the snow, add the sugar, stir, then add the egg yolks, stir a little more with a mixer, then add the nuts, flour and cocoa. From this mass, bake one crust in a cake mold and cut it in half cold.
- For the dough, whisk 2 egg whites in solid snow, add sugar, stir, then add the other ingredients and stir with a spoon to combine. Bake one crust in a cake pan.
- For the filling, whisk the egg yolks with the sugar, vanilla and eggs and steam. When cool add the whipped margarine and melted chocolate. You can also add a little rum to taste.
- For the glaze, melt the dark chocolate, then add the oil and leave to cool to room temperature.
- Fill the cake and spread it on top and around and then pour chocolate over it
Serving
the original recipe I had was with a yellow filling that took 1 egg less but this time I made it like this with chocolate
