Kalamaki kebab
Greek kebab in a slightly different way, this is a lesser known variation. Meat / of your choice, maybe even fish / chopped into pieces with oregano, served with a salad.
Preparation steps
- Re-prepare the mixture: Sockets / wooden if you use, metal do not need / soak for a few minutes in water. Chop the meat into cubes. In a bowl, add eggs, mustard, a little olive oil, salt, pepper, oregano and chopped parsley, add chicken and enough crumbs to combine everything into a fine mixture / as in the picture /. Mix everything well, then take a piece of the mixture, fry it in a dry pan clean to see if you are satisfied with the flavors. Put the chicken pieces on the skewer, gluing it / it should not fall off the skewer. Preheat the oven to 180C. Arrange the meat on the baking sheet on which you put the baking paper, coat them with olive oil. Bake in a preheated oven for about 15-20 minutes, until everything gets a nice color and becomes crispy.
- Serve on piadina, sprinkled with olive oil, chopped hot or sweet peppers and feta cheese with salad or cooked vegetables to taste.
