Preparation steps
- From the given ingredients, knead the leavened dough. Separate one egg yolk to coat the kajzerica.
- Allow the dough to rise to room temperature.
- When the dough has doubled in volume, spread on a floured surface.
- Divide into balls (approximately 10-12 balls). Make each one separately and place in a pre-buttered pan.
- Cover with a clean cloth and let it rise again.
- When almost done, spread with a mixture of egg yolk, a little milk and oil.
- Sprinkle with ground poppy seeds.
- Bake in a preheated oven at a temperature of 200 * C until golden brown.
- Serve warm as (1) and (2).
