"Kadajif with semolina"
Here is another recipe for making kadaif. In this case with semolina. Follow the instructions below:
Preparation steps
- COOKING BITE:
- Leave the milk to warm up.
- In a deeper bowl, separate about 200 ml of lukewarm milk. Add semolina and mix well so that no lumps form (same procedure as making pudding).
- Add this mixture to the rest of the milk with constant cooking.
- Cook for 20 minutes on low heat.
- At the end add sugar, mix and wait for it to boil.
- When the semolina is done, cool a bit and serve it on kadajif as follows:
- PREPARATION:
- Make kadaif according to the recipe.
- When it is ready and cooled, carefully transfer half of the kadaif from the pan to a smaller bowl (for example, a fireproof dish). Align so that the thickness is about 1 cm.
- Pour lukewarm semolina on this crust. Allow the mako to cool and form a crust.
- Carefully place the other half of the kadaif over the semolina and flatten.
- This kadaif with semolina is cut into cubes. Sprinkle with cinnamon to taste.
