Preparation steps

  • In a certain pan greased with butter, divide half of the kadaif and sprinkle with half of the melted butter.
  • Beat the eggs and sugar as for any stew, then add the walnuts and pour over the kadaif.
  • add the other half of the kadaif and the rest of the butter over.
  • Bake at 175 C for about 30 -40 min. taking care not to brown (lower the temperature or cover with foil) depends on your oven how it bakes you.
  • Serbet (agda or dressing)
  • Pour water over the sugar and from the moment it boils, boil for 5 minutes.
  • Pour hot sauce over the cooled kadaif and when it cools down, cut it into the desired cubes.

Serving

This is a really good recipe for those who like kadaif, you can also add chopped walnuts and raisins that you previously poured over hot water and left to stand, it all depends on your taste, but even without these additives it tastes great.
