Juja
I don't even know the name of this recipe. I named it after a dear woman, my former neighbor, who gave it to me. If you have a family of diabetics, some diabetic filling can be used as there is no sugar in the dough.
Preparation steps
- Dough: Knead the dough. First, mix the softened margarine with flour and salt so that the margarine crumbles to the end, and only when it is all well mixed - chopped .. add one cream, mix (I do it with a mixer) and along the way take as much flour as possible to get a compact mixture, then add another sour cream to the part that remained floury. With a little patience, knead or mix with a dough attachment until it becomes compact. Leave it in the fridge for two hours or better overnight !!
- When taken out of the refrigerator, divide this amount into two parts. Take the first part and roll it out thinly, but make sure it is more of a rectangle and not a circle. Then, in parallel on the opposite longer sides, spread the jam, fold once and lightly spread with beaten egg yolk, then fold once more and cut off and move a little or transfer everything to one side. Continue the process until the dough is used up. Repeat with the other half of the dough.
- Place the resulting rolls next to each other and cut 3-4 cm long biscuits all together because it is so much faster. It is enough to leave only a minimal space in the tray. Bake at 200 st.C for about 15 minutes, as soon as they start to get a little color they should be taken out.
- While still warm, sprinkle with powdered sugar.
Serving
This dough can also be used to make rolls or other shapes. The lady who gave me the recipe, cuts the dough into squares, but this way it's done extra quickly, so I recommend it to you. About 200 cookies come out of this amount!
