Jamie's royal cheese sandwich

The recipe is by Jamie Oliver, I have been planning to make it voila for a long time. It's good for the first time, but I'll have to practice. It is royal because you need to make a crown out of cheese, and that requires practice. But the taste is not lacking for sure :)

Preparation steps

  • Coat the bread with butter, both sides of both pieces. Heat a frying pan with a non-stick base over a high heat. Place the grated cheese on a piece of bread and fold over the others. Put on the pan and wait until golden brown. Turn around.
  • When the sandwich on both sides got a nice color and baked, take it out on a plate. Add some more cheese to the pan, let it melt and return the sandwich. As soon as the cheese sticks, take out the sandwich again and pour the cheese into the pan, this time a little more, wait for it to melt, return the sandwich on the other side. When the cheese is caught, pull the fork underneath and just lift it. Hold for a few seconds and turn on a plate. And here is the crown of cheese.

Serving

I used some mozzarella, but it needs some harder and fatter cheese to make the crown fall out better. I think Jamie used cheddar.
