Jaffa rice pudding

Preparation steps

  • Rinse the rice in a colander, place in a pot in which to cook it, add water and salt and put on high heat. When it boils, reduce the heat and stir so that it does not stick to the bottom. When the rice has absorbed the water add ½ cups milk, sugar and vanilla sugar and stir until the sugar dissolves. When the rice absorbs those half cups of milk, continue to add the rest little by little, until the rice is cooked, some 15-20 minutes. Don't forget to mix! When the rice is cooked, remove from the heat and stir in the orange extract, orange peel and cinnamon / cardamom.
  • Prepare 4 cups or bowls for serving. Put a row of rice pudding in each, put melted chocolate or chocolate topping on it, and 3-4 slices of orange on it. Finish with the rice, arrange a couple of slices of orange and lightly toss with the chocolate.
