Italian pizza Calcone

One of my favorite and most delicious, from now on I just make it like this.

Preparation steps

  • Combine all the ingredients for the dough and mix well. The dough is great, elastic and separates great from the bowl. Leave to stand until the volume has doubled. While the dough is at rest prepare all the ingredients for the filling. Prepare 2 baking trays lined with baking paper
  • Spread the dough on very little flour, make it short so that it does not stick and divide it into 4 parts. Roll them into a roller as in the picture, put 2 tablespoons of tomato sauce in half, over the filling, if you like, what you like to arrange, put 2-3 large spoons of cheese over the very top.
  • Fold now towards the middle and the edges first come with a fork and then twist them from the sides inwards so that the filling does not leak while baking. Leave them to rest for 15 minutes.
  • Turn on the oven to preheat to 180 degrees. Coat the pizzas with a little milk or water if desired and bake them for 15-20 minutes, until the desired color.
