Internet chocolate strudel
Like that recipe with roses and puff pastry, this strudel also came from the internet and with the pompous accompanying text "only three ingredients" ... I found it interesting, and my daughter added with each bite "mom, but this is good for you ". And I say it's nice and sweet, to make a treat in a hurry :-)
Preparation steps
- The puff pastry should be rolled out into three sizes of chocolate. So, the size of the stretched dough depends on the size of the chocolate. It is best to stretch immediately on baking paper. I chose Belgian chocolate with whole hazelnuts, a 200g board to which I added another row from the other board (30g).
- On the stretched dough, put chocolate in the middle, the whole board. Cut the dough from the side with a cutter diagonally into strips 1.5 cm wide. Cover the chocolate with strips crosswise left and right, making a kind of braid out of the dough.
- Beat the egg well (I also added a spoonful of milk) and spread the strudel evenly with it. Bake in the oven preheated to 180C, for about twenty minutes, until the dough rises and is finely browned.
Serving
We started it lukewarm, while the chocolate was still completely liquid, but it doesn't tighten completely even when the cake has cooled. Then it is easier to cut it.
