Hussar donuts

Browsing through the brochures, I noticed the holiday decorative cookies and decided to try them out. I had homemade currant jelly that I made according to Mem's recipe, but I didn't paint it, so it was just an opportunity for a presentation :)

Preparation steps

  • Knead a crispy dough from the listed ingredients
  • Wrap in nylon foil and leave for 1 hour in the refrigerator
  • Roll the dough into a roll and cut it to the size of a walnut, and make balls
  • with the handle of the cooker, print a small indentation on each ball to fill it with a teaspoon of currant jelly or any other… ..
  • arrange on a baking sheet, and cookie sheet and turn on the oven to warm up
  • bake them for 15 minutes at 180 C
  • sprinkle the baked and slightly cooled biscuits with sugar and fill the indentations with jelly.

Serving

Note: Instead of hazelnuts, you can take almonds or walnuts, and you can stuff them of your choice. Your favorite jam, which you heat up a bit to make it easier to fill the recesses. You can also fill the recesses with small chocolate eggs, chocolate candies, but you have a great selection! I made 30 cookies from this mixture.
