Hunting steaks
For all game lovers, one great recipe that will delight you with its taste ... If you are not a game lover, you can make it with beef or veal steaks, they are also great !!
Preparation steps
- In the evening we marinate steaks from boar (or roe deer) and who doesn't like venison then from beef or veal :) it will also be great !! Marinating steak if you work with boar like I do: put thinly sliced boar steak in a slightly larger bowl, pour 2dcl of white wine, 1 dcl of water over it, add oregano, Mediterranean mixture (if you don't have basil and thyme ... ), 3-4 cloves of garlic cut in half, 3 heads of red onion cut in half, and a sprig of rosemary.
- The next day, heat the oil in a pan, put the steaks on both sides for 7-8 minutes, then take them out on a plate. In the heated oil, put the finely chopped red and garlic that was in the marinade, then the tomato peel, a little mustard, oregano, basil, tomato concentrate, a little chili and 1dcl of red wine, and cook for about 10 minutes.
- Then return the steak to the juice we made in the pan, sauté, add pepper and salt, and cook for about 50-60 minutes, or until you see that the meat is cooked enough. If necessary, add a little water so that it does not burn :). In the end, if desired (who likes a thicker topping), thicken with a little flour and water ...
Serving
Served with a seasonal salad, mashed or grated potatoes, cooked rice or polenta, they are great. Who doesn't like game, does the same thing only without marinade, with veal or beef steaks.
