And this is an old Korcula cake, but not a recipe.
Preparation steps
- Knead everything into a smooth dough and leave it in the fridge for an hour or two. It is important not to add too much flour.
- Divide the dough into smaller pieces and thinly roll each piece to a thickness of 3 mm. You have to add a minimum amount of flour because the dough sticks.
- With a knife with a rolling pin, cut strips 3 cm wide (more or less as desired) and 7 cm long, and cut thicker in the middle with a knife.
- Put a couple of pieces in hot oil that are fried on both sides. Fry for about 30 seconds on each side. It is necessary to reduce the intensity of the fire so that the crumbs do not burn.
- Sprinkle with powdered sugar.
