How to make a fondant car
here I hope it will help some. how I took pictures in the evening so the pictures are not all crystal clear (I have to pass the camera), but I tried to show you at least approximately how :) although it is not a problem at least for these baby cars it just takes time. I did them according to the picture, I didn't have any procedure, so I hope it will make it easier for someone, and I'm happy for the first time :)
Preparation steps
- this little car was cute to me so i decided to try to make it i saw it on colki grozdanka put pictures of course not like hers but for the first time i am satisfied :)
- first prepare the substrate on which you will work, if you do not have a silicone substrate then cut the baking paper and tape it to the table so that it does not slip. take a piece of fondant the size of the car you want. smear a little vegetable oil on your hands so that the fondant doesn't stick to your hands, and at the same time it will give the figures a shiny lip. shape the ball first and then lightly press between the palms to get a cylindrical shape, lower it to the base, refine the shape a little more (as in the picture) and cut the middle with a scalpel to v it will be the seat.
- roll out a thin white fondant cut one cube the size of the seat you previously cut
- I pressed the furrows into the seat with a fondant knife like this, if you don't have one, some blunt knife will do.
- apply a little brush and water on the wrong side and transfer it to the intended place and round the ends
- make a thin worm that will serve to line the seat. lean on the beginning and lightly press with your fingers when you reach the end cut, so repeat with the other side in a different color.
- cut a circle with a mold and cut it in half to get this shape as in the picture, press the grooves as for the seat and then smear again with water
- glue to the front of the car
- so trim again. press the grooves. also press the grooves where the hood of the car is. from two small balls make a teardrop shape for lights coat with water and glue (do not put too much water because it will slip but just fry)
- for the car i used this extension. make larger circles out of black fondant and small circles out of white
- for the back part also press the place for the trunk trim the bottom part and put the lights I used the same extension
- again the same procedure as with the first car first shape the ball and then lower the cylindrical shape, then gently push with your fingers on both sides towards the middle to get this shape
- roll out thinly and cut out the front and rear glass from the white fondant
- with the same extension for whipping make lights, and from the wider part make a circle and cut that circle in half with the same extension to get a moon shape for the mouth
- shape 4 balls black and 4 small white put on the base and press with your finger to flatten to get the shape of a circle
- so repeat for the eyes
- the back will lift you by pinching the edge until you get a sharp edge like in the picture
- make the taillights as before
- I made the whole collection of cars, but the procedure is the same.
Serving
the pictures are a bit messy but that's how it is with me :)
