Horseradish sauce with boiled beef
Complete the delicate and mild taste of cooked beef with fresh horseradish sauce. Use the previously prepared beef stock for the sauce. With boiled beef and sauce, be sure to serve mashed potatoes.
Preparation steps
- Fry the flour and grated horseradish briefly in melted butter. Add pepper and stock and bring to a boil, stirring constantly.
- Cook it for 30 minutes, then stir in the cream.
- Add salt to the sauce if necessary.
Serving
Serve with boiled beef and mashed potatoes.
Advice
Instead of fresh horseradish, you can put 2 tablespoons of horseradish. You can also prepare the sauce without butter and flour, but in that case boil the base with starch flour and cook for a few minutes.
