Honey apple strudel
Recipes for strudels are never enough, they are easy to prepare, delicious, wonderful… this strudel is a little different from the others in that it has two fillings: the first is from seasonal fruit-apples with honey, raisins, cinnamon; the other gives softness to this strudel… .try it!
Preparation steps
- Peel an apple, grate it and grate it. Put lemon juice so as not to darken, add honey, previously melted in rum raisins, vanilla sugar and cinnamon. Mix all the ingredients well so that the honey melts and the mixture becomes compact.
- Save the stuffing to spray the crust. Wash the egg with a fork, add milk and sour cream, put oil in the mixture, mix everything well so that there are no lumps.
- Grease the pan with margarine.
- Coat the first crust with the spray stuffing, put 2 more crusts over it (maybe 3 more if they are very thin), brush each stuffing evenly over the entire surface. Over the third crust put evenly of the fruit filling. Bend the ends of the crust slightly inwards from all sides, then roll the crust into a roll.
- Repeat the process until all the ingredients are used up
- Note: When arranging the filling, be sure to leave 3-4 tablespoons of the milk filling at the end, as well as the liquid from the fruit filling. Put these two "leftovers" in a separate bowl, add 1 tablespoon of jam, 3 tablespoons of oil, and 50 ml. milk. Stir the mixture well, then brush all the rolled strudels before baking.
- Bake at 180 degrees until it gets colored. Sprinkle the finished strudels with powdered sugar while they are still warm.
- Good apetite!
