Homemade ARANCINI / candied orange peel

Preparation steps

  • Cut the orange peel into strips and soak it in water for 4-5 days. Replace the water periodically. After 4-5 days, drain the crust and weigh it and adjust the other ingredients accordingly
  • Cook them in the amount of water according to the ingredients (depending on your weight). When they are semi-soft, add sugar and cook until all the liquid is absorbed, they should remain slightly moist. Roll the hot crusts in the sugar and arrange on a plate or similar to dry. They should thus stand for 3 days before consumption.
