Herzegovinian peximet
..he has long been a tradition..there are no festivities or appetizers without them..they must be found on every table with cheese and cream..my family recipe! try it !!
Preparation steps
- Mix flour with baking powder and salt.
- Put yeast and sugar in lukewarm milk, mix with flour and add other ingredients.
- Knead a light dough and soak for 30 minutes.
- Roll out the dough on a floured board - not as thin as for donuts!
- Remove with a large cup or round mold
- .cover with a warm kitchen towel and let it rest for about 30 minutes.
- In the meantime, heat the oil (about 7dl.) - it must not be too hot!
- Slowly lower the biscuits and fry first on one side and then on the other
- until nicely browned.
- If you need to dry them on kitchen paper!
