Hazelnut jaffa cake
A combination of jaffa biscuits and hazelnuts, for a little football player's birthday cake! :)
Preparation steps
- Whisk the eggs and sugar and add the flour, half of the baking powder, grated chocolate and ground hazelnuts. Combine everything and pour into a mold, and bake at 180 ° for about 20 minutes, depending on the oven. Repeat this two more times (we need 3 biscuits) Bake in a mold with a diameter of 28, my pan is 20x30
- While the biscuits are baking, cook the cream. Put 7 dcl of milk to boil, and mix vanilla pudding and sugar into the remaining milk and cook in the milk until it thickens. When it is cooked, cool it, add margarine and mix.
- In the same way, cook the other cream, milk, sugar and pudding, when it cools, add margarine, mix, and add another 4 tablespoons of ground hazelnuts and mix well.
- Let's make sweet cream (you can also use whipped cream)
- Put half of the vanilla cream on the biscuit, arrange the jaffa biscuits (about 15 pieces), put the chocolate cream over the biscuits, then the sweet cream. Again the biscuit, then coat it with the rest of the chocolate cream, arrange the jaffa biscuits, over the biscuits the rest of the vanilla cream, a little cream and top the biscuit. Coat the cake with the rest of the sweet cream, and decorate as desired.
