Hazelnut and pistachio strudel
A delicious vegan dessert for compassionate and happy holidays and a clear conscience. :)
Preparation steps
- For the syrup, mix the orange juice with 380 g of sugar and put on the fire. Cook until the sugar has melted and the syrup has boiled a little.
- Coarsely grind pistachios and hazelnuts with the rest of the sugar and mix with the cinnamon. Melt the margarine. Coat the tin with margarine. Coat a sheet of dough with margarine and sprinkle with a mixture of hazelnuts and pistachios and roll and repeat until the dough and filling are used up.
- Cut the strudels into smaller pieces and bake them at 180 ° C for about 50 minutes, until they turn golden. Remove from the oven and pour the syrup over the warm strudels.
- Leave to cool, then cut to the end.
