Halampita, halvapita, halvuša
Again a sweet dish taught to me by my mother-in-law who is an expert on antique dishes. For us, this is the most beautiful, most delicious and best cake. It smells of childhood and happy days spent in their homeland.

Preparation steps
- 2 cups (2 dl) of water, 4 tablespoons of apple jam, 4 tablespoons of oil, 1 tablespoon of sugar, put in a pot to boil, when it boils reduce the temperature and to this extent a full 8 tablespoons of flour (like a "hill" full of spoons), mix over low heat and as soon as the dough is combined like halva remove from the heat.
- Pour over the baking tray (size-diameter 26), shake out the dough and pick it up in oil so hot and spread it out on the baking tray (the dough is the thickness of a finger).
- If you want, cut into baklava / rhombuses or make circles on the dough with a glass or a cup, sprinkle with walnuts and you can also press the walnuts on the dough by hand and pour a little, preheat the oven to 250 and bake for about 10 minutes. crust so check during baking.
- After it is baked, pour apple jam and cream over it (you can also whisk it together and pour it). We eat it hot, but it can also be eaten cold. Enjoy the old treat!
