Gregada from the frog
When the summer heat starts and you don't feel like eating much, here is a simple and delicious dish for you. Monk, don't be intimidated by her appearance, because she is sweeter than any beauty!
Preparation steps
- For starters: the skin of a frog is not edible, its trunk has only one central bone, and its head a couple of larger ones. Very good fish for kids.
- Clean the frog and cut it into larger pieces, the head as well
- Cut the potatoes into rings half a centimeter thick
- In a bowl (it would be good to have a wider shallow), first arrange the potatoes, salt and pepper.
- Arrange the frog over the potatoes
- Sprinkle with salt, pepper, parsley and garlic
- Arrange the potatoes again, sprinkle it with spices as well
- Now pour in the wine, pour just enough water to cover and finally pour over the olive oil
- It is very important not to overdo it with the amount of water because the fish must be stewed and not cooked in soup.
- Now put on the fire abruptly for a few minutes, then reduce to a simmer until the potatoes are soft. Do not stir just shake the bowl
- Good apetite!
