Gratinated potatoes
I know that there are a lot of recipes with au gratin potatoes on this site, and I prepare it this way… .......
Preparation steps
- Fry finely chopped red onion in oil, add flour and chopped garlic, lightly fry everything to get a light sprinkle. Drizzle it all together with soup (you can add a little more soup if necessary), let it boil, add cooking cream to get a light sauce (like besamel), add spices, thyme, cream cheese wine, boil everything lightly be thick about like a pancake mixture) .In the finished sauce add the potatoes that you previously cut into thin slices and straighten well, all together lightly cook for about ten minutes. Add 1/2 cup of grated cheese and pour everything into a deeper pan. Cover the pan with foil and bake covered for 45 minutes at a temperature of 180C. After 45 minutes, remove the foil and sprinkle the potatoes generously with the remaining grated cheese and bake for another 10-15 minutes until golden. Remove the finished potatoes from the oven, wait 10 minutes for them to cool down a bit and serve as a side dish with various baking.
Serving
You can prepare this side dish the day before, and bake it before you need it.
