Golden marzipan balls
These candies are a fine combination of marzipan and bitter orange marmalade, wrapped in dark chocolate.
Preparation steps
- Mix the chopped marzipan with powdered sugar, vanilla sugar and liqueur.
- Roll out the mass into two long rolls and divide each into several smaller pieces the size of a walnut.
- Stir each piece a little more, press the indentation, fill it with a little jam and roll it with your hands and the ball, so that the filling comes inside. Keep your hands wet when shaping.
- When the balls are a little dry, pour the dull glaze over them and let them tighten. Then optionally decorate with gold-decor coating.
